Presenter Dermot O'Leary and a rotating panel of celebrity judges try to help couples who are going through marital troubles. Each episode features real-life couples with marital tiffs that are usually quirky or funny. Each member of the couple gets a chance to argue their case before the judging panel. The panellists offer their wit, wisdom and opinions to the couples before ultimately delivering their rulings of who they think is correct in each dispute. Part comedy, part marriage counselling, "The Marriage Ref" sets out to possibly save marriages.
