Nashville is known as Music City, U.S.A., and is noted for its country music heritage in particular. So the Tennessee city is an ideal site for this weekly show that features performances from popular artists from the country and gospel music genres. In addition to the performances, "The Music City Show" features a house band, interviews and comedy segments. Greater Vision, Legacy Five and Lynn Anderson are among the acts that have performed on the show. After having guest hosts preside over episodes in the first season, comic Tim Lovelace takes over as full-time host beginning with Season 2.
