Based on the 1945 novel of the same name by Nancy Mitford, focusing on the lives of an upper-class family during the interwar period, this hedonistic miniseries adaptation is written by Emily Mortimer and stars Lily James as the tragi-comic Linda Radlett, whose desire for romance and earnest search for true love becomes all-consuming. Contrasted against the more stable life of her cousin Fanny Logan, Linda's youthful naivete and passion begins to have serious consequences for others in her life as she matures.
