In the spring of 2018, former Russian military officer and double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia, were found unconscious in the city of Salisbury due to being poisoned with a nerve agent, Novichok. The emergency services, led by Director of Public Health of Wiltshire Council Tracy Daszkiewicz, desperately hunt down the source of the deadly toxin and implement a local lockdown and an elaborate test and trace system. While the community comes together in fear of an invisible enemy, they are unable to prevent tragic local collateral damage.
