Hans Christian Andersen's classic tale of a young girl's quest to rescue a friend from the icy clutches of the dreaded Snow Queen. Kay is rescued from the street by Gerda and his mother. The two become best friends, and when he falls under the Snow Queen's spell Gerda sets out on a magical journey to find him. An enchanting soundtrack by Paul K Joyce is performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
