`The Tower II: Death Message', based on Kate London's second novel, sees Gemma Whelan and Jimmy Akingbola return as DS Sarah Collins and DC Steve Bradshaw, alongside BAFTA-nominated Tahirah Sharif as PC Lizzie Adams. When Lizzie takes on a domestic violence case, she soon finds herself being cross-examined in court, leaving the case on a knife-edge. Meanwhile, Sarah Collins reopens the case of missing school girl Tania Mills, who disappeared on the day of Princess Diana's funeral.
