During the Vietnam War, the U.S. evacuated thousands of displaced Vietnamese children out of their country-an operation known as Operation Babylift. Shortly into the first flight of this mission the pilot had to crash land the plane resulting in the death of 78 children and Air Force personnel. NewsNation talks with people involved with Operation Babylift, including the pilot, Bud Traynor who survived the crash.
