This documentary celebrates all things wine with actors Matthew Goode and James Purefoy. With their base in a countryside villa, the wine lovers go on a journey to discover the stories and history behind the popular beverage as they travel to vineyards, meet the experts and sample some of the best locally produced wines. In the first series they visit the region of Umbria in Italy and for the second they are in the south of France. Back at home in London. previous co-host Matthew Rhys remains as a `Wine Show' consultant, demonstrating the latest in wine gadgetry and technology.
