To celebrate Independence Day and present a reminder of the dreams that launched the United States, HBO pays tribute to the founding fathers and the words that crafted a blueprint for a democracy. Director-producer Alexandra Pelosi brings together more than 100 special guests, including all of the living presidents and vice presidents, to recite the Declaration of Independence, the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Other readers include Supreme Court justices, Cabinet secretaries and the leaders of the Senate and House of Representatives, along with a wide array of celebrities, leading media figures and young people.
