Olympic medallist Tom Daley may be at home in the pool, but he's going to be on terra firma for this programme that serves as a travelogue as the diver heads on a global journey with best mate Sophie. The pair travel to six countries during a six-week period, but they won't be receiving VIP treatment in five-star hotels as they're travelling the world as a backpacker does. That means some of their `accommodations' aren't very accommodating. Why is Daley going on such an adventure and participating in such challenges as skydiving and jumping off a cliff? To raise money for research into brain tumours, an illness that took his father's life in 2011.
