Former `Blackadder' star Tony Robinson tells the story of the Great War in this show that explains how the war started, changed the world and finished with 100 days of military brilliance. The programme showcases the battle in a new way through the use of hundreds of archival images. Robinson also shows how World War I changed the lives of the British people for generations to come, from liberating the working class to breaking old ties of service to the aristocracy.
