In a quest to solve the world's greatest scientific mysteries, researchers trek dangerously to the edges of the Earth with the help of three elite survivalists. Gary Humphrey, Nick Koumalatsos and Shaun Keilen -- each with extensive military experience -- are the trailblazers who lead teams of scientists to, among other places, the largely unexplored island of Papua New Guinea, the Jurassic Park-like jungles of Bolivia, and the volcanic landscapes of Ecuador. While searching for clues and discoveries that could lead to scientific breakthroughs, putting egos aside and working together may prove to be the ultimate challenge.
