Charlotte begins her first term at Trinity College of Bridgeford University - the same school her father attended and taught at, though he'd left years earlier with no explanation. Charlotte is convinced his mysterious death is somehow related to the college and she is determined to hunt for the truth. As she and her fellow students settle into life at college, they learn that all is not as it appears at Trinity, despite the best efforts of a progressive new Warden at the school. But there are those who want Trinity's secrets to remain hidden, including the president of the Dandelion Club, an organisation of the school's wealthiest and most privileged students.
