`Tutankhamun' is a four-part historical-drama inspired by the discovery of the boy-king's tomb in Egypt's Valley of the Kings. Set in 1905, the story follows young British archaeologist, Howard Carter, as he leads an expedition to find Ancient Egyptian artefacts. The ambitious archaeologist faces struggles during the expansive dig, causing him to lose his temper, compromising the project. However on his side is Lord Carnarvon, an English eccentric who financially supports the young man's work and accompanies him throughout.
