In this hilarious and heartwarming comedy series, Lily Brazier stars as Maxine, a former girl band member and currently failing music manager, determined to make a comeback into the world of pop. Having never managed mainstream success for herself, Maxine has settled into living vicariously through a teen pop act signed to her instead, much to their horror. However, after the group threaten to drop her in the first episode, Maxine finds herself wondering if she might be able to reclaim the spotlight for her own former group by offering the world something it's really missing - Mum Pop.
