`Wild Britain', from Bristol-based Plimsoll Productions, explores the outer reaches of Britain in order to reveal the hidden lives of both the familiar and the more unusual animals that roam the United Kingdom. Narrated by `Downton Abbey' star Hugh Bonneville, the series captures 100 different stories, filmed throughout the span of one year. The series displays engaging animal characters at key moments in their lives, and exposes their rarely seen nocturnal behaviour. Dr Martha Holmes leads the wildlife production for Plimsoll, and mentioned that the series allows for the discovery of new behaviour patterns, and they managed to film many things rarely seen.
