Spyros Katarachias finds himself on a tumultuous journey following a conviction for financial fraud that sees him sentenced to five years in a correctional facility. In prison, he meets Ioulios Rallis, a hardened criminal with a dark past, and develops a unique relationship with the inmate. Highly educated, Spyros imparts knowledge ranging from classical literature to theatre and poetry and finds himself taken under Ioulios' wing before being introduced to some of his secrets.
