The Razorbacks try to leave their emotions behind as they visit the Longhorns. Arkansas coach John Calipari and a cast of his players made triumphant returns to Kentucky in an 89-79 victory on Feb. 1. Texas has won three of its last four games.
College Basketball Kentucky vs. Texas
The No. 15 Wildcats face the slumping Longhorns. Kentucky knocked off No. 5 Tennessee for its second consecutive win Feb. 11. Texas lost a third straight the same night. Texas' Tre Johnson is third nationwide among freshman with 19.3 points per game.
College Basketball Texas vs. Arkansas
The Razorbacks (16-11, 5-9 SEC) try to sweep the Longhorns (16-11, 5-9). Texas has lost four of its last five, beginning with a 78-70 defeat against Arkansas on Feb. 5, despite freshman guard Tre Johnson averaging 25 points during the stretch.
College Basketball Georgia vs. Texas
Fresh off a big victory, the Bulldogs (17-11, 5-10 SEC) visit the Longhorns (16-12, 5-10). Georgia picked up its second win in eight contests against top-10 teams on Feb. 25 when it held off No. 3 Florida 88-83 thanks to Silas Demary Jr.'s 21 points.
College Basketball Texas vs. Vanderbilt
The No. 12 Commodores face the No. 13 Longhorns in the SEC Tournament's first round. Vanderbilt beat Texas 76-68 on Feb. 8 behind career highs of 18 points and 14 rebounds by Jaylen Carey. Texas is led by freshman Tre Johnson's 20.2 points per game.
College Basketball Texas vs. Texas A&M
A Lone Star State duel in the SEC Tournament's second round sees No. 13 Texas face No. 5 Texas A&M. On Jan. 4, the Aggies drubbed the Longhorns by 20 points in the rivals' first match since 2019, but Texas squeezed a one-point win three weeks later.
College Basketball Texas vs. Tennessee
The No. 4 Volunteers face the No. 13 Longhorns in an SEC Tournament quarterfinal. Texas shocked Texas A&M in double overtime to advance. Tennessee has won three straight meetings, including Jan. 11 and in the second round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
